Our Company

The REaD Group plc was established in 1991 with the launch of the Gone Away Suppression (GAS) file, delivered through The REaD Group UK Ltd (now trading as REaD UK). At the time, suppression was a brand new concept, little known or understood within the industry.  The REaD Group plc recognised the need for better data management and accuracy within direct marketing and so pioneered the concept of suppression. 

In 2002, The REaD Group plc set up meta-morphix Ltd as a joint venture with Tri-Direct.  6 years later the Group acquired full ownership of meta-morphix with a strategy to improve the Group's reach and enable it to offer clients, from across all group companies, a holistic view of their data management through a more consultative approach. TRG Strata was set up as an Associate Company to The REaD Group plc in 2003 to deliver specialist list & insert expertise.

The latest newcomers to the Group are Scientia Data and Funnel Lead Marketing, both established in 2009. Under the helm of some of the of the most well known and respected professionals within the industry, they are the up-and-coming 'stars' on the Data Asset Management stage.
